Product Description
Lobo Thai Boat Noodle Soup Base is a concentrated liquid seasoning designed to help you create the classic sweet–salty–spicy broth used in traditional Thai boat noodles. Each 120 g pouch is enough to prepare a generous pot of soup that can be served with rice vermicelli, tender slices of meat, bouncy meatballs and plenty of fresh vegetables.
Simply dilute the soup base with water, add your choice of protein and noodles, and finish with herbs and fried garlic for a restaurant-style bowl in minutes.
Ingredients
Soy sauce (soybean, wheat, salt), coconut palm sugar (24%), creamed coconut (5%), spices (black pepper, five-spice powder, Chinese spices), star anise, coriander, galangal extract, pickled chilli and garlic (8%) [water, fermented soybean], distilled vinegar (3%), salt (3%), colour (plain caramel), flavour enhancer (disodium 5′-ribonucleotide).

How to Make Thai Boat Noodles
1. Prepare Noodles & Vegetables
- Blanch 100 g rice vermicelli in boiling water until just cooked. Drain and set aside.
- Blanch beansprouts and water spinach (or any leafy greens you prefer). Drain and set aside.
2. Make the Broth
- Bring 2 cups (480 ml) of water to a boil.
- Add the entire contents of the Lobo Thai Boat Noodle Soup Base pouch.
- Stir well until the soup base is fully dissolved and the broth is fragrant.
3. Cook the Meat
- Add about 200 g of sliced meat of your choice (beef, pork, chicken etc.).
- Optionally add sliced offal and meatballs for a more traditional bowl.
- Boil until the meat and meatballs are cooked through.
4. Assemble Your Bowl
- Place the blanched vermicelli and vegetables into serving bowls.
- Ladle the hot boat noodle soup with meat and meatballs over the noodles.
5. Garnish & Serve
- Top with fried garlic, chopped spring onion and fresh coriander leaves.
- Adjust to taste with chilli, lime juice and fish sauce if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy an authentic Thai street-food experience at home.
