How to Make Shrimp Tom Yum

1. Prepare the Sachet

  • Submerge the unopened Lobo Tom Yum Paste sachet in hot water for about 1 minute.
  • Cut open the softened sachet so the paste squeezes out easily.

2. Make the Soup Base

  • Bring 2 cups (480 ml) water to a boil in a pot.
  • Add the full contents of the sachet and stir until completely dissolved.

3. Add Shrimp & Mushrooms

  • Add about 200 g deveined shrimp and 100 g sliced mushrooms.
  • Simmer until the shrimp are cooked through and the mushrooms are tender.

4. Season & Serve

  • Adjust flavour with fish sauce or salt and fresh lime juice to taste.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and extra chilli if desired.
